Running Injury Takes Its Toll

This year has been a remarkable running year. As I trained late last year up to the beginning of April of this year, I've had nothing but free reign to push myself to go the distance. First, it was participating in a great running event in Honolulu, Hawaii in April with a good friend of mine to being accepted into a very prestigious bay area trail run in Mill Valley, California in June. But as I wind down to ease up on my running events and weekly routine runs, out of no where comes a very painful right heel that has prevented me from doing any serious runs. I tried running with the pain thinking it would go away but to no avail.
